<p>This invention pertains to a method of reconfiguring a family of the armored, tracked vehicle of the troop carrying type to enhance producibility and protection from mine blast fragments. By using the configuration and modification disclosed herein, mine blast protection, vertical obstacle crossing capability and cross country mobility are enhanced.</p>
