FIELD: helio technology, namely aggregates for heating liquids by means of radiant flux, for example solar water heaters. ^ SUBSTANCE: solar heater has liquid supply and discharge branch pipes in the form of common mouth in upper part of vessel. Vessel has in lower part flat supporting base or flat base with rigidity ribs. Vitrified window is provided in detachable or non-detachable rigid, semi-rigid or soft heat-insulation casing; said window is inclined by 30 - 120° relative to plane of supporting base. Solar heater may be realized according to other claims of invention. Invention provides periodic filling-emptying in standard operation mode, possibly with use of ice or snow as initial matter. It is possible to use liquid including, practically any number of impurities. ^ EFFECT: simplified design of solar heater that may be used for heating up liquid by transferring heat from outer source such as furnace, oven, open fire. ^ 25 cl, 16 dwg
