A portable terminal is disclosed having a first housing; a swing hinge module providing a rotation axis which extends perpendicularly to a top surface of the first housing; and a second housing coupled to the swing hinge module and adapted to be rotated about the rotation axis while facing the first housing. As the second housing is rotated about the rotation axis, the swing hinge module stops the rotation of the second housing at least once at a predetermined position.
