Wheelchair (20) comprises rear wheels (24) and front wheels mounted on a frame, a seat, a back rest, and two side walls (37) of side parts arranged a distance apart between the rear wheels. The side walls are removably fixed using fixing devices to the frame and prevent the user's clothing from coming into contact with the rear wheels. Each side wall is connected in one piece to a clothing-protecting part (38) extending laterally outward over the adjacent rear wheel. Preferred Features: The clothing-protecting part covers the adjacent rear wheel by at least half, preferably at least two-thirds of its width (39). |
