The present invention refers to a waterborne homo or copolymer dispersion comprising at least one alkenyl functional dendritic polymer being mixed into at least one homo or copolymer obtained by polymerisation, such as emulsion polymerisation, in an aqueous medium of at least one polymerisable allyl, vinyl, maleic or diene monomer. Said dendritic polymer is built up from a dendritic core polymer and at least one alkenyl functional compound bonded to said core polymer. In a further aspect the present invention refers to a process for production of said homo or copolymer dispersion and to the use thereof.
