摘要 <p>Dissociating molecules of the extracellular hemoglobin (I) of Annelids, particularly Arenicola marina, to produce the 10 protein chains (II) that make up (I), comprises treating (I) with at least one dissociating agent (III). (III) is particularly a mixture of dithiothreitol; tris(2-carboxyethyl)phosphine or 2-mercaptoethanol with a dissociation buffer. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing a pair of primers (P) from (II); (2) pair of (P) produced by method (1); (3) preparing nucleic acid sequences (NA) that encode (I), using the primers of (1); (4) proteins encoded by NA; and (5) NA produced by method (3) or encoding the proteins of (4).</p>
