The present invention relates to a method for producing a long-life liquid in an ultra high temperature process comprising the steps of admixture of aromatic substances, preheating, steam introduction, vacuum treatment, homogenisation, cooling and packaging, wherein said steps of said ultra high temperature process is exchanged, so that said vacuum treatment of said liquid is performed before said admixture of aromatic substances. The present invention furthermore relates to a liquid produced according to the above-mentioned method.
