<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which can use a nonvolatile memory which can rewrite data to an apparatus lifetime. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus 1 has; a RAM 2 which stores data; a flash memory (nonvolatile memory) 3 which can write data on this RAM 2; and a main power supply 4 which supplies power. It is provided with; a means to measure elapsed time from power ON of the main power supply 4; a means for resetting elapsed time if data on the RAM 2 is changed when the elapsed time reaches a rewriting interval stored in the flash memory 3 by writing this data in the flash memory 3, while resetting the elapsed time if the data on the RAM 2 is not changed; a power disconnection detection circuit 5 which detects OFF of a main power supply 4; and a means to write data on the RAM 2 to the flash memory 3 when the power disconnection detection circuit 5 detects the OFF of the main power supply 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
