PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling of and reduce cost of a carrier tape folded for storage. SOLUTION: The carrier tape has a plurality of storage containers 11 having a part storage recess 13 and connected by a connecting means. The connecting means uses a foldable connecting part 18 made of an elastic strip body and the containers 11 adjoining through the connecting part 18 can be folded back for the containers to be closer to each other. The carrier tape is easily manufactured because the part 18 uses the foldable strip body. In this way, the carrier tape is folded and stored using a low cost connecting means.
