PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet apparatus capable of preventing any part from being left unwiped by a wiper blade, correctly positioning a cap sealing material and a nozzle forming surface in relation to each other, maintain the rigidity or the like of a head cover. SOLUTION: In this liquid jet apparatus, the head cover 39 is provided with slender cover plates 39a for covering surfaces of both ends of the nozzle forming surface 41b, a main protective wall part 39b which is bent from the cover plate 39a so as to cover a side surface 32a of a head case 37, and an auxiliary protective wall part 39c which is brought into continuous contact with each of ends of both the cover plates 39a; a cover plate 35a on the side of the start of wiping is provided with a linear edge part 35c where an edge on the side of a nozzle opening 41a is brought into a linear state along a direction in which the nozzle openings 41a are provided in a line; and a cover plate 35b on the side of the completion of the wiping is provided with a widened shape part 39d which is formed at each longitudinal end thereof. Thus, the edge part 35c of the cover plate 35a prevents the occurrence of an unwiped part 41c, and the rigidity and the like on the side of the cover plate 35b can be maintained.
