<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and its apparatus for efficiently producing a stent that are excellent in smoothness and safety, with no risk of damaging blood vessels or the like, which requires no deburring treatment after making holes. <P>SOLUTION: This stent production method comprises a process for forming a pattern, a process for cutting the pattern-formed material into a prescribed length, a process for rounding edges at corners of end surfaces, and a process for chemical polishing.
