PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for analyzing traffic news in a geographically unfamiliar place, for displaying a place name used in broadcasting thereof on a map, and for guiding it. SOLUTION: This system comprises a reception means 20 for receiving the traffic news under the broadcasting; a storage means 10 for storing a map image data 11 in an objective area and a dictionary 12 for voice recognition of the place name; a broadcasting frequency recognizing means 31 for recognizing a received broadcasting frequency; a map image data selecting means 15 for selecting the map image data in a specified area; a display 41 for displaying the selected map image data; a selection means 16 for the dictionary for the voice recognition of the place name; a place name recognition means 32 for acoustic-recognition-processing the place name included in the traffic news; and a place name indication means 33 for making the display for indicating the recognized place name included in a screen of the map image data.
