PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress feeling of noise that a user senses when an original signal recorded in a recording medium is distorted in sound. SOLUTION: In a reproducing device 10, a sound distortion period detection part 13 detects a sound distortion period of a signal on the recording medium 11. A sound distortion period restoration part 14 considers the sound distortion period as a signal where a waveform lacks, for example, and interpolates the signal lacking period by interpolation technology. A compression part 15 compresses a signal where sound distortion is restored, and outputs the compressed signal as an output signal of a sound distortion restoration part 12.
