METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING DEPTH OF RACEWAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the depth of a raceway from a remote site by emitting transmission waves to the deepest part of the raceway via a tuyere. SOLUTION: This method for measuring the depth of the raceway, by measuring the distance to the deepest part 7 of the raceway, is provided with a transmission process S31; a receiving process S32; a beat wave generation process S33 for generating beat waves by the transmission waves and their reflected waves; a band removal process S34; a Fourier transform processing process S35; and a distance computation process S36 for computing the distance to the deepest part 7 of the raceway, on the basis of frequency spectra.
