PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficiently removing scale in a walking-beam type furnace. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for removing scale in the walking-beam type furnace comprises: a frame body provided with a mobile unit 14 capable of traveling on a walking beam 3; a mounting 17 which is mounted on the frame body and movable from side to side; a support base 22 tiltably supported in the mounting 17; a support tip 23 which is movably installed therein; and a gyratory crushing device 29 for crushing the scale, which is installed in the support tip 23.
