<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-photon absorption optical recording and reproducing method for reproducing by irradiating a recording material with light and detecting a difference in light-emitting intensity, after unrewritable recording is carried out on a material which has at least a two-photon absorption compound with a large two-photon absorption cross section, using the two-photon absorption of the two-photon absorption compound, and a two-photon absorption optical recording material which allows such recording and reproducing to be performed, and to further provide a three-dimensional two-photon absorption optical recording material, and a three-dimensional two-photon absorption optical recording method and a reproducing method using the two-photon absorption optical recording material. <P>SOLUTION: After recording is carried out on the two-photon absorption optical recording material which has at least the two-photon absorption compound and a recording component using the two-photon absorption of the two-photon absorption compound, a write-once two-photon absorption optical recording and reproducing method allows the reproducing to be performed by irradiating the recording material with light and detecting the difference in the light-emitting intensity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
