<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a fuel cap 10 by keeping the regular position of an operation part 42 in completing the tightening of an inlet FNb. <P>SOLUTION: A male screw part 21 is formed on an outer periphery of the closing body 20 of a fuel cap 10, and a female screw part FNc is formed on an inside wall of a filler neck FN. An inlet FNb is closed by inserting and screwing the closing body 20 into the inlet FNb holding an operating part 42. The inlet FNb is fully closed when the screw part 21 is screwed in from the leader FNc1 of the female screw part FNc and the stopper 21d of the screw part 21 touches the leader FNc1 of the screw part FNc by the rotation of the part 42 in the closing direction. At this moment, a gasket GS provided between the body 20 and the seal face FNf of the filler neck FN is depressed and displaced toward an axis direction for sealing by seal face pressure higher than a predetermined one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
