PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability against bending of a flexible matrix substrate and a display device. SOLUTION: The flexible matrix substrate is equipped with a substrate 101, signal lines 104 and scanning lines 105 formed in matrix on the substrate 101, pixel electrodes surrounded with the signal lines 1094 and scanning lines 105, adhesion layers 201 surrounded with the signal lines 104 and scanning lines 105, and TFTs 102 which are fixed on the adhesion layers 201 and connected to the signal lines 104, scanning lines 105, and pixel electrodes 103 through lead-out wires 1021, 1022, and 1023, which are in parallel to one another at ends of the adhesion layers 201.
