SPECIMEN COLLECTION INSTRUMENT WITH INFLATABLE BAG

Specimen collection instruments for collecting and/or removing tissue or other specimens taken from a body. The specimen collection instrument (10) are adapted for use in endoscopic and/or laparoscopic procedures. The instruments include a sample collection bag (32) that is adapted to be moved out of an outer tube (12) that is provided with a handle (16). An inner tube (14) having a handle (22) is disposed within the outer tube (12). A bulb (25) is positionned on the handle (22) and is in fluid communication with the inner tube (14). The bulb (25) acts as a pump in order to inflate the collection bag (32).
