摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein a structure becomes complicated due to a mechanism for making a guide rail follow relative displacement in the horizontal direction in a base isolation layer and floor area of a building is reduced in an elevator installed in the building provided with a base isolation device in an intermediate part and forming a shaft continuously from an upper story side to a lower story side of a base isolation layer story. SOLUTION: The shaft 5 is continuously formed over a low layer part construction body 2 and a high layer part construction body 4 of the base-isolated building 1. The guide rail 6 is erected in the shaft 5 and is supported by a first bracket 7 provided in an upper part of the low layer part construction body and a second bracket 8 provided in a lower part of the high layer part construction body. A lower end of a rail support beam 9 arranged in the shaft 5 is connected with the first bracket, and an upper end is connected with the second bracket.
