The display mounting for taps and faucets, at bathroom and kitchen installations, has a block-shaped holder to be inserted into the opening of the unit to take the display tap(s). A counter holder is secured to the holder in the tap opening. A part (1) of the tap fitting is secured to the base side of the tap body, with a release mounting at the holder for exchange. The tap part is formed by a flange plate (4) in a partially circular shape, with two spaced bolts (6,7) and a drilling (5) for a bolt to be screwed to the under side of the tap assembly.
