A movable bed, comprising a movable mechanism for diagonally or liftably moving a floor part and a safety switch turned ON/OFF interlockingly with the operation of the floor part, wherein when the safety switch is displaced from a specified position and the ON/OFF state thereof is switched, the movable mechanism is stopped. The movable bed wherein a cover may be installed to cover the movable mechanism from the outside and the safety switch may be installed correspondingly to the disposed position of the cover so that, when the cover is displaced from a specified position, the ON/OFF state of the safety switch can be switched.
