<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which controls heat generation in overcharging. <P>SOLUTION: The non-aqueous electrolyte battery comprises an anode, a cathode containing a carbonaceous material capable of storing/emitting lithium ions and a binding agent, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, where the binding agent contains an ammonium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose, and the blending quantity of the binding agent is in the range of 0.5 to 2.5 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the carbonaceous material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
