PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device for a floor improving workability of putting a sheet around a rotating brush. SOLUTION: This suction device for the floor is provided with a suction device case 4 having a suction port 3 in its lower surface, a suction joint 7 attached in an approximate center of the suction device case 4 and communicated to the suction port 3, a rotating brush 5 rotatably disposed facing the suction port 3, and a driving means rotating the rotating brush 5. This suction device for the floor is so constituted as to put the sheet 6 around the rotating brush 5 and is provided with a current plate 16 dispersing an air sucked from the suction port 3 to the left/right of the rotating brush 5.
