MICROPOROUS BODY CONTAINING FLUORORUBBER AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microporous body which is excellent in heat resistance and oil resistance and does not age in oils at elevated temperatures and its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The microporous body contains fluororubber and has a three dimensional open cell structure. The microporous body includes the one having a three dimensional open cell structure which is formed by mixing a fluororubber, a solvent for the fluororubber and a pore-forming material and then by extracting and removing the pore-forming material from the molding of the mixture with water.
