PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which can satisfy the contradictory conditions of protection of a nozzle surface, prevention of separation of a nozzle plate, and maintainability of the nozzle surface by using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This inkjet head A comprises an actuator 1 wherein a plurality of channels for generating a change in pressure to be imparted to ink are provided in parallel and wherein many nozzles for ejecting the ink in each of the channels to the nozzle surface 1a are arranged, and a top plate 3 which has an opening 14a surrounding the nozzle surface 1a. The inkjet head is characterized in that: a recess 32 is provided in a surface of the top plate 3; the opening 14a is formed in the central part of a bottom part 32a of the recess 32; and the actuator 1 is fitted into the opening 14a; and the nozzle surface 1a is positioned on the bottom part side of the recess 32 with respect to the surface of the top plate 3, and positioned on the surface side of the top plate 3 with respect to the bottom part 32a of the recess 32.
