<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which forms at a low cost a high-quality image containing a fluorescent coloring matter being colorless substantially under visible light and emitting a fluorescent green color under the irradiation of ultraviolet rays, on an arbitrary article surface, and which gives a color image excellent in properties of design and security and others. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer sheet having a transferable color material layer on one surface of a base sheet, a color material has the maximum fluorescence wavelength in the range of 498-530 nm under the irradiation of ultraviolet rays (of wavelengths near 365 nm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
