<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a premixed compression self-ignition engine materializing stable operation with a simple and low construction. <P>SOLUTION: The premixed compression self-ignition engine has mixture of air and fuel supplied to two cylinders 1a, 1b of an engine main body 1 and compresses the mixture to ignite the same by itself. The engine is provided with an intake manifold 2 and an intake pipe 3 supplying air to each cylinder 1a, 1b, a fuel device 10A, 11B supplying fuel to each cylinder 1a, 1b, a turbocharger 6 raising pressure of air supplied to each cylinder 1a, 1b, and an exhaust manifold 4 and an exhaust pipe 5 discharging exhaust gas from each cylinder 1a, 1b. The intake manifold 2, the exhaust manifold 3 and the engine main body 1 include a combustion condition variation suppressing structure suppressing combustion condition variation of air fuel mixture among each cylinder 1a, 1b respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
