PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration such as rolling caused when moving an article such as a beer barrel to a target position. SOLUTION: Beer barrels 1 aligned and arranged on a conveyor 30 are gripped by a grip part 58, are lifted, and are moved in the direction of arrow mark D by moving a movable part 55. When the movable part 55 moves to the vicinity of a predetermined position above a pallet 5 which is the target position, the movable part 55 is attracted by an electromagnet 61 of a static mechanism 60. The static mechanism 60 is provided with a cushioning mechanism for stopping the movable part 55 stationarily at the target position while reducing shock applied to the electromagnet 61 by the movable part 55 to stop the movable part 55 gently and stationarily and reduce rolling of the beer barrel 1 when the movable part 55 stops stationarily.
