PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone type vacuum cleaner of easy maintenance improved in dust capturing ability to prevent a failure without harming environment. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a suction port body 3 having a suction port; an electric blower 2 for generating intake air; intake lines 6, 8, 18 provided between the suction port body 3 and the electric blower 2; a first dust collector 4 disposed at the intake lines 6, 8, 18 and swirling intake air to separate and capture dust; a second dust collector 7 disposed between the first dust collector 4 and the electric blower 2 to capture dust; a first housing chamber 15 for detachably housing the first dust collector 4; and a second housing chamber 16 provided continuously with the first housing chamber 15 to detachably house the second dust collector 7.
