摘要 In mammalian systems, RNA interference (RNAi)-based suppression of target gene expression may be activated by delivery of RNAi probes such as double stranded small interfering RNA (siRNA) molecules or short hairpin RNAs (shRNAs), where the RNAi probe sequence is homologous to the target gene. A reliable and quantitative method is provided for the rapid and efficient identification of RNAi probes that are most effective in providing RNAi-mediated suppression of target gene expression. This method may be used for high-throughput screens to identify effective RNAi probes.
