PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit of a pixel of an active matrix organic light-emitting diode having threshold voltage compensation, and to prove a drive method for the same.

SOLUTION: A first capacitor acquires a threshold voltage of a transistor at a compensation state and a second capacitor acquires a drive voltage at a data write state. At an emission state, voltage after series connection of the first capacitor and the second capacitor is biased to the transistor, and the current flowing in the organic light-emitting diode is controlled by the transistor.
