<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the heat efficiency of fixing processing and also to obtain a high-quality image by accurately selectively heating only the area of a toner image transferred to recording paper. <P>SOLUTION: The recording paper 5 electrified by a charge roller 17 is transported in tight-contact with a transfer belt 31 by a transport part 3, the toner image formed on a photoreceptor 11 is transferred to the recording paper 5 by the action of a transfer roller 14, and only the area of the toner image on the recording paper 5 is accurately selectively heated at a selective heating position D by starting the irradiation of a fixing laser beam when prescribed time elapses after starting the transfer by a fixing part 2, whereby the toner image is fixed on the recording paper 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
