MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC DEVICE, AND DISCHARGE LAMP DEVICE AND LIGHTING FITTING USING MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic device preventing a breakdown.

SOLUTION: A transformer structure is sealed by an insert molded form in an electromagnetic device, and the insert molded form is molded by wrapping the transformer structure without an opening section and a boundary section by a resin material filled around the transformer structure. A metal mold for molding a resin can advance in a cavity, and has a holding member retractable from the inside of the cavity with a filling to the periphery of the transformer structure of the injected resin material. A manufacturing method for the electromagnetic device is composed of a process in which the molten resin material is injected into the cavity in which the transformer structure held by the holding member is interpolated; and a process in which the holding member is retracted at a timing when the resin material is filled while wrapping at least a part of the outer periphery of the transformer structure, and a space section formed by the retraction of the holding member is filled with the resin material.
