摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical semiconductor device easily manufactured by mounting a lens and an optical semiconductor element on a substrate, and of easily performing a work for making coincident optical axes that require highly accurate positioning or the like. SOLUTION: The optical semiconductor device 1 includes a transparent glass substrate 2, and an optical detection element 4 that is an optical semiconductor element is connected to the surface 2A of a transparent glass substrate 2 through a connection part 5 composed of a part of a surface side metal pattern 3. Further, an annular part 8 serving as a positioning part for a lens is formed at a position on the rear surface 2B corresponding to the optical detection element 4 on the surface 2A of the transparent glass substrate 2.
