PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand inexpensively manufacturable in a short period, and having sufficient strength, by accurately boring pipe inserting holes in a required position, in the stand for supporting a partition wall between a skeleton part and a dwelling unit part of a multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: In this partition wall supporting stand, a rigid base body 2 is formed by respectively projecting a top plate 5 and a bottom plate 3 for placing the partition wall in the same horizontal direction from the total length part of both upper and lower ends of a vertical band plate 4 having a width wider than the height; a sideways groove 6 opening in at least the projecting direction, is defined by an opposed surface of the top plate 5 and the bottom plate 3 and a side inner surface of the vertical band plate 4; and a plurality of pipe inserting holes 8, etc. are bored in the vertical band plate.
