<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production support program and method for utilizing the actual conditions of previous production effectively and appropriately for subsequent production. <P>SOLUTION: Product configuration data showing the components of products designed are retained. A production plan inputted from a department in charge of design is associated with each component involved in the product configuration data to create production arrangement data for the arrangement of product production. A production plan inputted from a department in charge of production management is added to the production arrangement data to create work data for indicating the work needed for the production of each component of the product to a department in charge of manufacture. Working conditions inputted from the department in charge of manufacture are added to the work data generated. Work performance data showing the performance of the work carried out by the department in charge of manufacture are created based on the work data to which the work conditions have been added.
