<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent floating of a fuel injection valve while reducing the number of fixation parts of a delivery pipe and to improve assembling performance by reducing the number of the fixation parts. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel injection valve mounting structure for a cylinder injection engine is provided with the fuel injection valve directly injecting fuel to a combustion chamber of the engine, a holding tool fitted to the fuel injection valve and compressible in an axial direction, and the delivery pipe wherein a plurality of insertion parts are arranged at a position offset to one side from an axial line of a fuel supply pipe part extending in a cylinder row direction of the engine, and wherein the plurality of fixation parts are arranged at a position offset to the other side from the axial line between the insertion parts. The fuel injection valve is sandwiched between the engine and the delivery pipe and held in the axial direction, together with the holding tool. Fan-shaped connection parts enlarging toward the adjacent fixation parts are formed on outer peripheral faces of the insertion parts, and the insertion parts are connected to the fuel supply pipe part via the connection parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
