PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus suitable for reinforcing a component sheet of a resin article such as an assembly article housing case. SOLUTION: A hard resin sheet, which is punched out, is folded and assembled into an article housing case or the like, which has a component sheet 2. A rectangular reinforcing piece 6 is formed consecutively with the component sheet 2 by folding back the sheet 2 at its linear edge. A free end 6a of the reinforcing piece 6 at its front end along the linear edge is welded to the component sheet 2 to form a gap a between the reinforcing piece 6 and the component sheet 2.
