<p>In the present invention, there is disclosed a heavy-duty wheel-brake disk, particularly for railway vehicles, rotating about axis (Z). The invented wheel-brake disk consists of a hub (1) provided with a carrying plate (2) and a rim formed by two friction plates (3, 4) that are coupled in said supporting plate (2) via through holes by means of connecting elements (5) with expansion members (6). The carrying plate (2) itself has on its periphery regularly repeating shaped cuts, preferably at least three, whereby each of this cuts consists of both a fixing region within the first peripheral angle (U1) between the first point (A) lying on the carrying plate (2) periphery and a middle point (B) lying in the carrying plate section at a distance (R3) from the axis (Z) of revolution and a flexible region within the second peripheral angle (U2) between the middle point (B) and the last point (D) of the carrying plate (2) shaped cut, which point lies at a distance (R5) from the axis (Z) of revolution, wherein the remaining section within the third peripheral angle (U3) between the last point (D) of one shaped cut and the first point (A) of the next shaped cut forms strength area of the carrying plate (2). Each shaped cut has a section, extending between two points (B, C) of the flexible region, that is exactly defined and formed by third degree polynomial.</p> |
