A preparation method of a toothpick using a pulse of purple eulalia is provided to protect an environment and to have the end of toothpick neither splitting nor becoming dull. The preparation method of the toothpick using the pulse of purple eulalia comprises the steps of: (S1) collecting the pulse of purple eulalia after blooming; (S2) sorting the pulse by length and thickness; (S3) cutting and removing parts where blooms and soft parts which are in touch with stems; (S4) cutting parts in thickness of 1.5 to 2 mm to a length of 75 to 85 mm; (S5) tying the cut pulses into bundles; (S6) immersing the pulses in a solution of 2 wt.% of salt and boiling the solution; (S7) drying; (S8) making a gelatinization solution and vacuum immersing; and (S9) drying the immersed purple eulalia.
