APPARATUS FOR DISPLAY OF CYLINDER TYPE USING THE EFFECT OF PERSISTENCE OF VISION

An electronic display board for a cylinder type display using an effect of persistence of vision is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and maintenance cost by forming an electronic display board with a small number of LEDs. A plurality of LED supporters(10) are formed with a shape of semicircle and has a predetermined length. Red, green, and blue LEDs(20) are installed vertically to the LED supporters(10). A body(30) is connected to the LED supporters(10) by a connecting member. A motor(40) is provided to rotate the body(30) to the horizontal direction. A motor driver(50) is provided to drive the motor(40). A position sensor(60) is provided to sense a present angle of the motor(40). A storage part(70) is provided to store advertising data. A controller(80) is provided to control the motor(40) through the motor driver(50) and turns on/off the LEDs of the corresponding position according to the advertising data corresponding to the present position of the motor sensed by the position sensor(60).
