A cosmetic brush assembly is provided to easily expose the built-in brush to the outside by opening a protective cap as well as to prevent a scrap from happening even when the protective cap is repeatedly opened and closed. The cosmetic brush assembly includes: a first cylindrical member(220), whose both ends are opened and into whose lower inside a guide member(222), whose both ends are opened, is fixed; a brush supporting body(210), which is received in a slidable manner in the first cylindrical member(220) and has an upward extension member(214), and on whose upper part a brush(216) is arranged; a second cylindrical member(230), in which the first cylindrical member(220) is received in a slidable manner; a protective cap(240), covering the upper portion of the first cylindrical member(220) and having a pressing lug(242), which is removably engaged with an upper opening of the upward extension member(214); and a length-variable member(250).
