PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial ground bearing leg mechanism which copes with the settlement of the submarine ground, can adjust the height of an artificial ground bearing surface depending on a settlement amount of the submarine ground, and restores the inclination and settlement of the bearing leg mechanism. SOLUTION: The bearing leg mechanism which bears the artificial ground in horizontal and vertical directions is comprised of a direct foundation set on a sea bed, a foundation-side erect cylinder body arranged on the direct foundation, an elevating erect cylinder body ascendably/descendably fitted into the foundation-side erect cylinder body, a large pitch adjusting locking mechanism for fixing the elevating erect cylinder body to the foundation-side erect cylinder body so as to be located at a predetermined height, and a height fine-adjusting means arranged between the artificial ground and the elevating erect cylinder body, and having a nut-lock type jack and a rubber bearing.
