PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly transmit the information indicating the detection of the putting out of prize game media along with the curtailment of a cost in a game machine in which a game control means and a put-out control means are installed separately. SOLUTION: When a number of a put-out media counting switch 301 detects the putting out of game balls, if the detection is determined to be that for the putting out of prize balls, a CPU (central processing unit) 371 for put-out control turns on a prize ball counting signal for a specified period of time. In other words, each time the putting out of one prize ball is confirmed, the prize ball counting signal is kept on for the specified period of time. Upon the generation of a specified cause of error, the CPU 371 for put-out control shifts the control position to an error position of stopping the putting out of the game balls. Even under the error condition, when the number of put-out media counting switch 301 detects the counting out of the game balls, and if the detection is determined to be that for the putting out of the prize balls, the CPU 371 for put-out control turns on the prize ball counting signal for a specified period of time.
