PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential transformer type angle sensor capable of detecting a position angle in a wide range. SOLUTION: The circumferential part of a core 1 is divided into a magnetic flux transmission part 1a with a circular angle of 240°and a magnetic flux shielding part 1 with a circular angle of 120°, and the inside parts of a first and second inside yokes 5 and 6 are divided into magnetic flux transmission parts 5a and 6a with a circular angle of 240°and magnetic flux shielding parts 5b and 6b with a circular angle of 120°, respectively.
