PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic siding mounting structure which is small in the number of components, achieves mounting of a metallic siding with good workability, and is excellent in design. SOLUTION: The metallic siding mounting structure comprises a joiner 1 having a cap portion 11 and a locking portion 12, and a furring strip 2 having a fitted portion 21 to allow fitting of the locking portion 12 therein. The locking portion 12 formed of a pair of locking pieces 12a, 12b opposed to each other is arranged at about the center of the cap portion 11 in a longitudinal direction, and an engaging protrusion 22 is formed at the substantial center of a bottom of the fitted portion 21. The engaging protrusion 22 is elastically pinched by the pair of the locking pieces 12a, 12b, and both side walls and the bottom of the fitted portion 21 form a pair of fitted recesses 21a, 21b, respectively.
