PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a re-releasable water-based adhesive composition excellent in adhesive force and further water-resistant adhesive force, not leaving paste when released even under a high temperature condition and excellent in balance between adhesive force and re-releasability. SOLUTION: This emulsion type re-releasable adhesive composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of solid content) copolymer emulsion having -20 to -75°C glass transition point of a copolymer and obtained by carrying out emulsion polymerization of (a) 65-99.9 pts.wt. 4-12C (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester with (b) 0.1-8.0 pts.wt. hydroxy group-containing monomer and (c) 0-27 pts.wt. of the other polymerizable monomer [wherein components (a), (b) and (c) are 100 pts.wt.], (B) 1-30 pts.wt. rosin-based adhesion-imparting agent having 100-170°C softening point, (C) 0.01-5 pts.wt. phosphate-based surfactant and (D) 0-5 pts.wt. polyisocyanate-based crosslinking agent.
