PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried structure which utilizes the characteristics of a foam of a glass powder and makes a glass powder usable in uses other than civil engineering materials, building materials, etc. SOLUTION: A small structure 15 is encased (buried) in the inside of a shell based on a glass foam 11 prepared by foaming a glass powder, and the shell based on the glass foam 11 is cut off to cause the small structure 15 to appear. The glass foam 11 is composed of a plurality of shell members 11a and 11b which are integrated by bonding with a cementing agent 12 and optionally contains a protective shell 16 in which the small structure 15 is encased.
