<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal appropriately switching, in accordance with an operating mode, connection of a main antenna, an external monitor terminal, a transmitting/receiving circuit, a GPS receiving circuit, a newly added receiving circuit for space diversity, and an antenna in a GPS-enabled mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In the mobile terminal comprising a first antenna for performing radio communication, a transmitting/receiving circuit for communicating signals with a base station via the first antenna and a GPS receiving circuit for receiving a signal from a GPS satellite via the first antenna, the mobile terminal comprises a receiving circuit for receiving a signal from the base station, a second antenna different from the first antenna, and a switch means for switching, in accordance with an operating mode, the connection of the first antenna, the second antenna, the transmitting/receiving circuit, the GPS receiving circuit and the receiving circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
